I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

I need your help in achieving the position of becoming your constable. As part of my political agenda I would like to make sure that you, the citizen, are aware of your rights and what services are available to you from the constable office.

When elected constable the programs I will start include:

1.  SENIOR CITIZEN CONCERN CHECK
2. TRUANCY AND GANG ACTIVITY
3. INCREASE PATROL IN ALL OF PRECINCT 2 VAGRANCY/HOMELESS SEX OFFENDERS
4. DEADBEAT DADS/ NON PAYMENT OF CHILD SUPPORT
5. BICYCLE / PARK PATROL

As elected official I will address the concerns of the People of Precinct 2. I will take time to listen to our citizens and learn what they require of their constable by regularly attending civic club meetings where citizens can voice their concerns. The Citizens of Precinct 2 need more protection with crime on the rise. We the Office of the Constable and Daniel Vela will address this issue, every citizen should feel safe and secure in their homes.  The Office of the Constable will stand up for and deliver what is required by the citizens of Houston, Jacinto City, Galena Park, Pasadena, South Houston, South Belt Leader Region, Almeda Mall, Hobby, Gulf Gate Mall, Glenbrook and the Songwood  communities.
